"Milord" Galahadron nudges Catharsis in the side and whispers:

— Undoubtedly. They are all gifted women vested with power, and in their veins flows blood that originates from the Iron Heart. It's time to consider what titles such outstanding descendants will earn in the annals of history.

- Time will tell. Oh, look. They're starting to gather for the beauty contest, I wonder not who will win but who will be given a bride.

— But I'm one of the participants myself. It might be that they're coming for me, — Catharsis chuckled lightly, — though the idea of such prizes is alien to me. Some participants are married. Others may have no need for brides due to romantic inclinations, duty to their lineage, or, most simply, a lack of interest. It turns out strange and mysterious, don't you think? I mean, who would agree to the terms "you either marry the winner or serve them"? Assuming, of course, that the matter of service was discussed in advance. It feels like they're simply trying to pawn her off on someone, and the elegance contest is just an excuse for that. Unless I've completely fallen behind the times and the capital's customs.
