Who are they?

Candle and Pumpkin Moccachino. First they agree to act like proper buddies in the tournament, and at the last moment they decide to screw everyone over. Thereby letting down the people who were counting on them. Well, Candle at least said it to our faces, but we know about Chongchongli's betrayal not because she came up and talked it out with Axel face to face, but because the Mage Guild reported it. So part of the coalition still believes they're bros, but in reality they're two nasty rats.
