2 - still shows a white screen instead of a message after I click "edit". But in this case, I don't have the ability to compare with a normal internet connection; perhaps the issue is entirely on my end. I think I'll report back again when I get to a wired connection.
I think the problem is still that the editor didn't load due to a poor internet connection.
Added an additional notification if the system can detect the loading issue.
Returning to the previously discussed issue. Checked on a desktop PC with normal internet - same problem. Here's what the message turns into after clicking the "edit" button:
