Everyone has had the chance to voice their opinion on the BD system. I think it's still there. The old system is most likely based on a few things: endlessly stuffing birds into a profile is impossible; protection from clowns with mortuluses; all previously active users would have kept a high BD, which would create the illusion that they are still active. In short, the old system does a decent job of showing who is most active at the moment. This is clearly visible from the fact that the top BD users are fluders — the most active users, then the C-students, then the rest. What would a system without balancing show? That a clown once suckered a mortulus for over 100500 BD? Just another set of numbers like post counts? Either leave it as is, or balance it down to 0 for everyone, including those with negative BD, which would better reflect current activity, or rename BD to reputation.
