How this will play:
- 8 players on a 240x240 map: balanced space for scouting and conflict.
- Web / Crossroads: players share several routes through common neutral hubs.
- Neutral stacks are tough; border guards are brutal.
- Resources are at 130% and structures at 100%, so expansion feels standard.
- Each player starts with a hero cap of 4, rising +1 per castle up to 8.
- Classic victory: defeat opponents normally.
- Roads connect zones, so travel between them reads clearly in-game.
- Each player gets a nearby spot to claim early — say a second town or a few mines — a short way from their main town.
- Each player starts near 3 castles.
- Each player starts with mines near their castle: 2× sawmill, 2× ore, 2× gold, 3× rare.
- Each neutral castle zone holds 2 castles to capture.
