Arandor
Loken and Arandor are friends and colleagues in text-based role-playing games with colossal experience. They have been playing side by side for nearly 20 years, constantly teasing each other in off-topic threads (in the "Tavern at Fludoscar" or the "Holy Haven of Debauchery").
In the golden era of HeroesWorld (roughly 2008–2010), it was fashionable on the forum to write collective fanfics and stories where the main characters were the forum users themselves under their nicknames. In these stories, Loken and Arandor often traveled together:
Knight Loken: In these chronicles, Loken was almost always portrayed as a noble but slightly pompous knight in heavy armor who gave orders and covered for Arandor.
The "ancient brew" meme: One of the canonical text moments on the forum was the battle of the Knight Loken against the risen zombie-lord Wissy. The zombie dealt Loken a treacherous blow to the forearm, piercing his armor, and declared that his weapon was "aged in the most ancient brew, which inflicts agony before the lethal outcome". Loken grew pale, lost his hair, but kept pushing through with the words "You talk too much for an undead".
