Announcement of Heroes of Might and Magic 3: Remake

On August 27, Ubisoft announced that it intends to re-release Heroes 3 on a new 3D engine on its own.

Both the publisher and the developer are listed as Ubisoft on Steam.

• the game will include 2 expansions: Armageddon's Blade and The Shadow of Death

• 9 factions

• original campaigns will be available

• network play for up to 8 players, including hotseat

• a map editor will be available, and it will have the ability to import maps from the original Heroes
