Well, the mirror more likely looks like something that will push Deus into taking active action. Either it will awaken forgotten memories, or it will allow one to live a quiet life while the throne goes to the mirror double. Or perhaps it will simply show a picture of a possible future. We were clearly made to understand that this, along with our characters — Heroist's and Loc's — plus the Silent Horror, is part of some grand plan.
