A few more points:
The font size in the signature is much smaller than in a regular message. I don't remember how it was before, unfortunately.
When you open the message form, morale is shown as "0".
Could the thread limit per page be increased a bit? Previously all expeditions were displayed on one page, now there are as many as three pages.
Some smileys/symbols in thread titles have turned into "?".
A pinned thread in the section stands out very poorly from the rest (I think this has already been mentioned).
Threads with new messages used to be clearly highlighted, but now they all seem the same (this has also been mentioned already).
In the "replies" and "views" columns in the section, it would be nice to increase the text a bit and also align it within the column. Not critical, but still.
Reply/quote in a message "in reply to user X" — I'm not sure how it will behave if you quote multiple users at once in a single message. Also, for quotes it seems it wasn't necessary to enter the author's name, it would automatically fill in a default title.
And the "..." with "report/reply" have returned above the user's avatar again; I thought they had been moved to another place.
