I think there's no need to copy it 1 to 1; the main thing is to understand how to preserve the functionality, i.e.
- Proper page layout: the poster's data (nickname, avatar, etc.) on the left, the message content on the right, navigation at the top, and a field for writing a new post at the bottom. No half-screen backgrounds or other visual clutter. Posts should follow one after another without any step-like indentation.
- A proper editor with preview and a minimum set of features, but with full support for HTML tables and BB code (this is primarily needed by the GM for writing visually appealing and easy-to-read posts).
- A control panel through which you can view current topics and their impact on reputation (it won't be superfluous, though the "downvote" button can be omitted — there's no point to it).
- The ability to open posts in a separate window and link to them.
Maybe someone else will remember something else.
And is there no desire to help bring HeroesWorld to the desired result 🙂 ?
Your help would actually come in handy 😐
So far only Heroist has approached me with a concrete list of things they'd like to fix or change, for which I thank them.
And as I already said, it doesn't take years or months to make this a reality — most of it is already ready and will be done in the near future.
