Heroes of Might and Magic V: Gold Edition as a New Year's gift.

Nival Interactive will release Heroes of Might & Magic V: Gold Edition – a special edition that includes the original game Heroes of Might and Magic V, the official expansions “Heroes of Might and Magic V: Hammers of Fate” and “Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East,” and additional maps, including a mission based on the game Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. The special edition will be available for sale on December 21, 2007. All rights to distribute Heroes of Might & Magic V: Gold Edition in Russia, the CIS, and the Baltic countries belong to the company “1C.”

The Heroes of Might & Magic universe has always been particularly appealing to Russian gamers, but with the development of the long-awaited fifth installment being handed over to the Russian studio Nival Interactive, it has gained the status of a true national game. To date, more than one million copies of Heroes of Might & Magic V, including expansions and special editions, have been sold in Russia, the Baltic countries, and the CIS.
