Heroes of Might and Magic Online: What is currently known about Heroes Online?

Initially, the game was conceived based on Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and this was immediately apparent from the official website, which looked great with portraits of beloved heroes from the third installment.

The game was then developed for a long time, and its release kept being postponed. After that, Nival Interactive completed the development of Heroes of Might and Magic 5; perhaps this somehow influenced the development of what was previously called Heroes III Online. Now, this game is simply called Heroes of Might and Magic Online.
