We tested everyone except Matthias, Eisen, and Viktor.

Information and assumptions about the tested mentors:

Gungnir provides combat skills of various types (he gave me a spear and an ability, the icon of which hints at the old gladiatorial branch, while Heroist received a dueling skill with a sword), but also seems to be one of the most likely candidates for having a leadership skill. Considering that he is a master of many types of weapons, as Locken already noted, there is a chance for crossbows, but even if they are in the pool, I wouldn't count on getting them. Because in the expansions, there are always more types of melee weapons than ranged weapons.

Emilia provides magic and, possibly, some peaceful skills. There is no point in even considering the possibility of getting a crossbow skill from her.

Claudia provides peaceful skills (cooking and artist), but a dagger skill also dropped from her. So, in my opinion, the chances of getting a crossbow skill are small.

Cecilia provides peaceful skills of a trading and crafting nature. Considering her background, I wouldn't expect anything combat-related from her.

Almandina is also not an option – Arandor only received music from her, but I suspect that she also has a priestess skill or something more generally related to the Order. But a crossbow skill is unlikely.

Gregor provides ranger and archery skills, as can be seen from Locken. He seems to me to be the most likely candidate for having a crossbow branch.

Vergilius provides combat and Order skills, possibly also the Amantonte branch. Most likely, the combat skills are purely melee-oriented.

Assumptions about the untested mentors:

Eisen, like Vergilius, will definitely provide the Amantonte skill, as well as something else in the field of medicine or alchemy. He is the second most likely candidate for having a leadership skill. He may also have combat skills if his father, who became a landsknecht, trained his son. I highly doubt he has a crossbow branch.

Matthias clearly provides skills for stealthy characters, such as rogues and assassins. He probably has a noble bandit branch. He definitely provides simple combat skills, and I think it is likely that a crossbow skill is among them.

Viktor, I think, teaches firearms rather than crossbows. I do not rule out the possibility of their presence, but Gregor seems to me to be a more likely candidate. In addition, he can definitely teach skills such as philosopher, linguist, teacher, or historian.
