Regarding Argali. In the past, it was the western duchy of Airisufir, which expanded significantly during the military campaigns of the then-Duke Hibiscus Yuyutsu. When the empire was preoccupied with resolving internal problems (the Azure Cliff uprising led by Brahei Air el Sufir, the revolt of drunken ascetics, the Chrysanthea el Fermata rebellion in Euklazia) and dealing with their aftermath, Hibiscus, for reasons that have remained undisclosed until today, transferred the reins of power to his eldest son, Anagallis, but retained the position of Supreme Commander of Argali's armed forces. Over the following year, the newly appointed duke secured the support of the trade guild, representatives of the aristocracy, and the military council, after which he declared Argali's independence from Airisufir. The ensuing war led to a stalemate, as a result of which the imperial government gave up on the new kingdom and focused on resolving more pressing issues. Since then, and up to the present day, Anagallis and Piona Yuyutsu have been the King and Queen of Argali. Since most of the lands conquered by Hibiscus belonged to non-humans (in particular, the Ss'elay swamps, the homeland of the serpent people), a significant portion of Argali's population is non-human. They have somewhat limited rights compared to their human counterparts, but they are not in a state of slavery, as was the case in Airisufir, which greatly contributed to their efforts in the struggle for Argali's independence. Argali has no official religion, but many of its inhabitants worship Arteria or practice shamanism.
