To be honest, I don't think this is an undeniable advantage that elevates Necropolis above all other Castles. A couple of external dwellings, and the number of those same centaurs increases several times.
Why bother with logistics when there are spells like portal to town and dimension door? With them, you can run across the entire map very quickly, much faster than with logistics. That's why Kir is just okay.
