Dreams.

I remember a scene from one of my dreams today. It was a post-apocalyptic setting, a ruined city, and we entered one of the buildings that used to be a cafe. The building was full of holes; I don't know how it hadn't collapsed. Through the walls and ceiling, you could partially see the street and the neighboring buildings. Visually, it reminded me of something like Fallout, like a big city from Fallout 3. So, we entered the building, and suddenly, a large robot with long legs and a spherical body/head (hello, Half-Life 2) walked past the building. It stopped and started looking at our shelter through the hole in the roof. There wasn't enough time to hide, plus the building was so damaged that it noticed us. For some reason, I immediately understood that other, smaller robots would come soon, and I ran to the door. One of them burst into the building, and I started fighting it. Then, I grabbed something sharp and stabbed it in the head, maybe in the eye or ear (these robots were structurally closer to humans), and then I don't remember what happened. But it probably didn't end well. The dream was probably partly inspired by watching a stream of Days Gone, which also features finishing off zombies by stabbing them in the head. And, of course, the post-apocalyptic setting, even if it didn't involve robots. Although the head-stabbing moment might also be related to a scene from a series where a man had a pen stuck in his eye. The dream was actually pretty good; it's a shame I didn't have the chance to explore the city and the world more. But now I want to play Fallout
