Yes, scripts don't work on unpatched maps, so most of the mod's features won't function. You can upload the map to the forum if you archive it in a zip file or use any file-sharing service; we need to figure out the cause, as the patcher works without errors for me. Regarding heroes with unit growth – if the growth doesn't trigger in the first week, that's normal; that's how it's designed. The first growth should occur at the beginning of the second week. Or does it not trigger at all on that day?
