I don't know if these mods are still supported... But I would like to see a small mod that replaces the "Stronghold" menu music with the menu music from the original game.
And it might also be cool to have a version with the "Haven" city music for the menu. (or maybe other cities, for those who like it?)

You can change the music in Heroes yourself; all the tracks are in the music folder. If you need to insert a city track instead of the menu track, just copy the city track, rename it, and replace the menu track with it.

You can also take any track in ogg format and put it in the game; for example, I have the dwarf city track from Heroes 7.

By the way, in Heroes 3, it's the same, only the tracks are in mp3 format; I changed the pirate city track to the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean.
