Another round of frustrating negotiations. That's why I spent a long time farming resources. On day 117, I had fire birds, but only one town.
On day 127, I only had 4 towns, but I managed to get a powerful swamp creature, a 5-all-around unit, and a helmet. The teleportation tower was rebuilt.
On day 131, my opponent took my important village, which was my last connection to the map. But, with a prepared horseman with mana on the edge of the zone, I rushed into my opponent's castle and killed his support unit. From there, I was able to capture more towns. At one point, I forgot to equip my bracers and lost Tirax.
My opponent's main mistake was building gray dwarves but not upgrading them and not leaving his army in that town.
Thanks for the game! 2:2
The deciding game will be on h3dm1. The previous 2 games were streamed, if anyone is interested.
A fast-paced, resource-intensive game.
On day 132, my opponent unexpectedly attacked with a barbarian I had previously cleared out, along with a mercenary damage dealer, killing my support unit and taking the castle.
I had no air units, only ground units, and my economy was supposed to improve tomorrow.
It turned out that the 3 swamp creatures I had were not worth even one of my opponent's early-game tier 3 units with 11 all-around stats and a blue hat.
On the next turn, I forgot and teleported my support unit, which had no movement points, into the citadel, where Tirax was already stationed, and handed over the army to another support unit, effectively signing a non-aggression pact.
With proper technical execution, I would have had a chance, even with the lack of stats.
Thanks for the game
