How to play Heroes of Might and Magic III online via Hamachi?

Hey everyone! Need some help! Here's the problem: my friend and I decided to play Heroes, we followed the Hamachi instructions, I created the network, my friend joined, but he can't ping me! As a result, we can't play. We decided to do the opposite: he created the network, I joined, but now I can't ping him. What should we do? We disabled the firewalls, but it didn't help.
