Cool, but in my opinion, the goggles and helmet combination doesn't quite work. Either use the mechanic's goggles like the user Ment did, or just the helmet. Sorry for these nitpicks, but still.

No, it's fine. If you remove the helmet, you'll have to deal with the attachments for the goggles, and the gnome's awesome hairstyle gets in the way. Plus, the idea is that these are special armored mechanics; they need to be sure they won't get hit by an arrow while repairing golems! (And I really like the goggles combined with the helmet.)
