That's exactly how it was, I can confirm. I fought until the very end, honestly... :)
Here are screenshots of our encounters with Uran: 1) A meeting of two heroes on the sand, with Gunnarr retreating. 2) Gunnarr (40 mana for 4 arrows dealing 435 damage) unsuccessfully tried to defend his castle against Kirr (multiple archers dealing 250-300 damage).

But I believe that the opponent wouldn't have stormed me even with full mana, because the damage of his lightning exceeded the damage of my attack + the castle's damage by 70, and the HP of my troops is more than 3.5 times greater.
You're right here. But I had to generate this battle and make sure that it was really the case. I couldn't believe it...
