It doesn't affect the game at all; it just replaces the hero portraits. You can play with the standard ones, and it won't affect the game in any way. The map is great, though! Can I give you a small piece of advice so you don't have to replay it later?))))
Thank you very much!
Of course, I can give you some advice! =)) I'm not sure if it will be helpful at this point, as I've already been playing for 2 months (currently on day 312), and I'm a bit stuck. I've cleared the entire northern part of the land (including "Quiet Haven"), obtained the city portal and resurrection spells, and defeated everyone I've encountered. Now I'm facing a kind of dead end. To progress, I need to defeat some mythical dragonlings (either in the snow or those that the main heroes passed through) or the azure dragons at the whirlpool (but I think it's too early for those, as there's no terrain advantage, and the dragons are tough). I can defeat the mythical dragonlings, as I've acquired antimagic spells, but I can't win without taking losses. I'm thinking of using hit-and-run tactics with some units, as there's a tavern in Quiet Haven. So, I'm trying to figure out what to do.
