I decided to put Metataksar on hold for a while. I played for another day, killed a Necromancer, and then looked at what enemies I would face next. For now, I decided to pause the playthrough. I think I played it quite well for 1.5 months.
I decided to start something simpler, and I chose Way Home. I need help with installing the map. In the "readme" file of the archive, if you download it from heroesportal, it says that in addition to the map itself, you need to add extra files to the data folder.
Because of this, the game doesn't start. When I try to start a new scenario, a window pops up saying that a lot of these PCX files are invalid, and the game can't start.
How important is it to perform this action? Is the map playable without it, or is it not worth starting?
