Walkthrough for Way Home.

Comrades, I need help with installing a map. In the "readme" file of the archive, if you download it from heroesportal, it says that in addition to the map itself, you need to add extra files to the data folder.
Because of this, the game doesn't start for me; when I try to start a new scenario, a window pops up saying that a bunch of these PCX files are corrupted, and the game can't be started.

How important is it to perform this action? Is the map playable without it, or is it not worth even trying to start?
