I finally took a break from Anno and repainted the unupgraded dwarven archer. I also came up with why the dwarves are gray, why the priest-rulers serve not only Arkat, and why the dwarves of Grimheim survived the War of the Ancients, while these guys blocked all the exits. It's all about simple betrayal, vile cowardice, and divine punishment: so, when the War of the Ancients began, the question of defense and survival arose, and then the dwarven king decided to provide refuge to other races, as honor demanded. The High Priest of Arkat believed that the survival of the dwarves was the most important thing; he killed the king in his sleep and blamed it on the Faceless Ones, and then he took the throne himself and ordered the tunnels to be blocked. Arkat cursed the priest and his people; the fire mages lost their divine buffs, and the dwarves' skin turned ashen. It should also be noted that Hangwul, although he turned away from Arkat, did not become ruler through a treacherous murder, so such a story could fit into the canon.
