2. Anyone with even a basic understanding of programming can write an ERM script. You can try ordering it (there are many good scripters on the df2 forum) if you don't want to figure it out yourself.
In TE, all cartographers are changed to Veil of Darkness, and Hill Forts are changed to Dragon Lairs. This is optional, of course. That is, when playing a random map, the corresponding checkbox is checked; in a fixed map, it is not.
And many other things can also be done. :)
