Personally, I can add the following:
A person who joins a Clan (and especially creates one) must be aware of their actions. A Clan is your "second" family, and you will have to dedicate some of yourself and your time to it.
In my time, I was in a Clan, although it only had 3 members, but I still devoted a lot of time to the Clan (communication, training, Tournaments, etc.). And so did every member of our Clan. We were like a family. And we achieved success (at least, that's also a result). Our Clan took 4th place in one of the city Championships (I won't say which one, to avoid advertising, but those interested can ask me privately or on ICQ), and there were (not many, not few) 26 teams participating.

I have almost 7 years of experience in team play (not in Heroes). And I can't help but agree with Kolbazzer that a Clan is a "second family," although families, like Clans, can also be different. For a Clan to thrive, it must have a leader who is interested in the Clan's success, as well as a desire among ordinary players to achieve some Clan achievements. If a person can no longer or simply no longer wants to play, they should leave the Clan, as they will almost inevitably become the team's weak point and will drag it down.
Regarding Clans on our forum: it takes time for a new Clan to prove itself. However, there are registered Clans in which the vast majority of members have not been on the forum for a long time, and there is no longer any point in their existence.
It is difficult to hold Clan online battles 2x2 or in another format precisely because of the difficulty in finding a time that is convenient for everyone. And offline events are now purely personal Competitions, as discussion of them is prohibited on the forum (although everyone understands that discussion, say, on ICQ, cannot be prohibited. But the feeling of Clan discussion is lost), when I joined a Clan, it was possible to discuss offline Tournaments within the Clan on the forum, and we did this, and it felt like you were part of a Clan, and not just listed as a member. It is quite difficult to come up with any format for an offline Tournament specifically to determine the strength of a Clan due to the specifics of Heroes.
