MMH5.5 - Heroes of Might and Magic 5.5

I installed the mod, hoping it would include some special campaigns or scenarios for unique character progression. Unfortunately, there weren't any. It seems this is just a mod that modifies the main game, but without any interesting scenarios or campaigns, there's essentially no point in playing it. My question is: what's the situation with downloaded scenarios/campaigns for the vanilla version? Do they have their own balance in most of them, or their own scripts? Is it a gamble to play them, or is there a specific section with maps specifically for version 5.5? And playing in map generator mode is just silly. Thanks in advance for your answer.
