Around 11 Moscow time, I'll start looking into the clues more actively. But we need to know the correct starting point. For now, the closest option is the flag of Madrid, but I don't understand what the cross has to do with it. There's a cross on the crown, in one of the coat of arms variations, and on the flag of Spain, but in both cases, it's a minor detail, and mentioning it is more likely to confuse than to provide a clue.

There's also Shishkin's painting "Morning in a Pine Forest," which features a bear cub hugging a tree and a kind of cross made of tree trunks. But the red background doesn't quite fit.
