I asked Alex, Nefela, and Gumer several times, almost directly, if any of them considered him a mafia member based on his statements. All three said it was okay. So, either one of the trio – Alex, Gumer, and Nefela – messed up badly and lost the game, or Heroist is 100% Suffering... (sorry for the percentages, Nebo).

I found some evidence against Master, but it only connects in the opposite direction (from Master's argument to the Iranian-Byzantine Wars). I don't know how to directly and clearly connect the Iranian-Byzantine Wars to him.
