How many factions are there?

I'm not sure about the elves; there are already many of them. Perhaps a celestial/storm-themed faction would be better, but not elves... just my opinion. P.S.: I have tons of ideas: a celestial faction with amber and diamond-themed chariots, cherubs, and pet-like creatures... although I would really like to see a castle in an Egyptian theme.
