Loken mentioned something about "adventures with Nebk to Tox" on the first day... I think it's not just a coincidence, and Tox was swapping with Nebk specifically. Tox's answers are "There's a watch, average IQ + a lie that he's a maniac." Tox could have gotten the watch either from the trainer or from the doctor. Nebk isn't a trainer, so it's either the doctor or a survivor who was visited by the trainer on the first night and given his items. Or maybe a ghost guard/ghost girl who left the watch with them.
