Chisinau in May is great (but I don't know how the situation with the borders will be). Moscow and St. Petersburg will be colder, so I would prefer them for August.

Chisinau in May has too high a risk of being postponed due to COVID. Therefore, we will try to organize the event in Chisinau from July 31 to August 7 (maybe even until August 8, depending on how many participants we expect), as well as in Moscow (we might even be able to organize a 64-player tournament in Moscow if we can find a reasonable price). In 2018, we were lucky with the weather in Chisinau during the May event; usually, it's cooler in May.
