Opponent dug for grail and poormaned it, not knowing it would disappear

Not a very good starting location; there were no good hiding spots or objects to claim in the first two weeks. However, there was a grail right on my starting location, which I discovered using the obelisk. After digging up the grail, I defeated the hero guarding it, and then it disappeared. Of course, he surrendered. I've dug for grails about 6 or 7 times in online matches, but this was the first time I encountered this, and it was disappointing. Thanks for the game!
