This is a very clever move – to advocate for one's own execution in a completely alive town, especially when the mafia team has no way to save themselves from executions, right?
Even with a Doctor, it wouldn't make sense because, at the moment, the town has a numerical advantage and would simply execute the same player the next day. The town, however, also has no reason to advocate for its own execution – if successful, the town wouldn't gain any useful information beyond the role of the executed player. However, if we assume that negative votes are being cast on bad roles due to actions in the newspaper and the results of the poll, then preemptively executing oneself could be used as a kind of maneuver – the negative voter wouldn't do that, would they? In any case, since ToX himself doesn't object to his execution, I'll leave my vote on him unless a more obvious candidate for execution appears before the end of the day.
