Thanks for listening to me and starting an active discussion about the Night Detective (ND), yeah...

Once again:

1) Does everyone agree that Neffela had Suzanne, and not the Girl with the wrong ND?
2) What is your version of what the most advantageous ND for the girl would be on the first night?

I reread your posts again - have we narrowed down the roles for Morny to 4, right? Did we all come to a consensus that the third question was specifically "Are you a lone wolf?" I'm not entirely sure about this, but I'm willing to believe your conclusions.

But I want to note that I don't really believe that the girl chose glasses. Why? Because, as I understand it, nothing prevents her from taking the unique item "Phone," about which you can't ask in a poll. This is a very safe move, and I think the girl took the phone and something else, but not glasses, so that there wouldn't be a 100% match with the blogger in terms of items. Yes, you'll say that taking the same set as a strong town role is smart, but I wouldn't risk it. I would take the phone and something random that most town roles have (excluding the blogger) and is not present in two copies in the inventory of the ghosts (not the watch). Some notebook/wallet, something like that.

The paragraph above is just my theory, which doesn't pretend to be serious. In the end, Morny, if he's a girl, could just say, "Screw it, I'll play the Journalist" and take glasses and a phone, why not...

In short, we have a 50:50 situation. Charlie doesn't appeal to me; it's just Mafia 2.0, it does more harm to the town than good, so I would even be willing to say that we have a 75% chance of guessing correctly with Morny's execution, if not for one thing - there are only 8 town roles, and on the next night, if we execute a town role, we might end up in a 5-3-1-1 situation. In this situation, the girl easily gets in good with the Mafia, and we'll have to rely on the Mafia again... I don't like this at all.

Yashur, as I said in my first post, didn't appeal to me because of his distraction with the poll and only the poll. Could this be an aggressive move by the Mafia? Quite possibly.

I would send a few checks or something like that to Yashur. We can try to isolate Morny. Why? Because if he's the girl, he won't kill anyway; if he's the Investigator, he will only have time to use one block (and we won't be able to prevent the Investigator from using his block in the order of NDs, so forget about it) and won't kill anyone with a non-targeted kill; if he's Charlie, he won't be able to mess things up with a swap of NDs; and if he's the Doctor, the Mafia, who is reading all this and who has already narrowed down the set of roles for Morny, won't kill him. If they go to him with a kill, for a 33% chance of taking out the Doctor, and they fail, that will be a shame.

Yes, I may have made a more Mafia-like move than a town move above, because nothing prevents the Mafia, knowing this plan, from killing Morny (if he's not the Investigator) with the Guardian, ignoring the isolation, but we can also come up with something for that.

Oh, and yes, I, knowing perfectly well that when I'm town, I'm consistently eliminated on the 2nd-3rd night, would like to request some kind of protection, if possible. I'm not saying anything specific, but I ask that you trust me in this game and give me at least a couple more nights to live.

I noticed something else here... Houston, we have a problem.

Ult: Resurrection. The ability to revive a player killed in the previous night. If he comes to a corpse that has already been gnawed on by the Survivor, he cannot revive him. The ult is consumed. He cannot revive ghosts and executed players.

I don't know how the Doctor can successfully use his ult in these conditions... If the probability that the Survivor will use the corpse-eating ability on the corpse of the previous night is very, very high...
