And as for the Investigator, he might have really stayed out of the action, as Morning suggested. Or he might have been blocked/protected. By the way:

Vengeful. If his murder was thwarted due to a block or external protection, he might declare that he's going to take revenge on the next night.

How will this be different in description from a regular Mafia kill?
