I remember that I really enjoyed the first two seasons of Index back in the day, but the third one disappointed me a lot, and after watching it, I had to ask myself – was the reason due to the way the plot was presented or did my perception change? After all, almost ten years passed between watching the first two and the third season, so it wouldn't be surprising if my tastes and subconscious assessment of what was happening on screen underwent significant changes. However, after watching the third season of Railgun, which is a spin-off to the original story, I came to the conclusion that the problem was still with the pacing of the third Index, and not with me, because I really liked the third Railgun. The setting here is cool, the characters are interesting, and the potential, given the way the story is told, is limitless, so individual arcs are perceived as separate stories, but at the same time they are part of a single whole.
I even have two distinct memories associated with the first season - I watched it in my first university right in the classrooms on a laptop, and the first opening was for a long time my energizing song during the period when I still listened to music while leaving home and was able to run without experiencing painful sensations (well, I wrote this and suddenly realized that it sounds sad). Be that as it may, at the moment I have rather vague memories of the first and second seasons, but the third one had almost an ideal combination of cozy everyday and serious action elements. I say "almost" because there was still a slight bias towards the latter, which was especially noticeable in several recent episodes.
And most importantly – this is a rare title where a blonde turns out to be my personal number 1... Misaki impressed me so much that I even decided to install the gacha game released last year and accumulate resources to roll her SSR version, but...

I did it within the first 10 rolls, so there's no point in playing anymore!.. In fact, I’m just not sure if I will do it, because apparently my phone can’t fully handle this application.
