Ranger - "Higher Vampire" [5th Campaign, 5th Mission]

And in which version of the game did this happen? I played it a long time ago, on version 1.3.

In version 1.4, after the battle, I had four Phoenixes left, and everything was fine – the mission ended. And I know that some players completed it with even fewer Phoenixes remaining.
