Previously, ranks were assigned differently, but now the Rules have been updated. Just when I reached level 7 (500+ posts), I was demoted back to level 6 because the Rules now state that level 7 is achieved with 750+ posts.
This whole mess is starting to get annoying: of course, ranks are just a trivial thing and a game, but if you consider it a minor issue, then let's just abandon the rank system altogether! If it was introduced for the interest and entertainment of users, then what's the point of this constant "devaluation" of ranks?:mad:
