It seems I've accounted for everything except the potions. I got confused about who has what, so you can just list what your character (or characters) has and what could have been given to NPCs (just in case...).

Linderne has:
x1 health potion
x3 magic potions
x3 magic energy potions
x1 healing potion
x1 experience potion (Lock gave the go-ahead if he has 4 left, and Shen didn't drink it), but it's considered consumed, not in the inventory.

I'll roleplay the potion exchange a little later.

Considering that the emergence of new magical practices in Lisliar, distinguished by their cruelty, was not unprecedented, the "blood tax" could be part of some new, hitherto unknown, magical ritual. And if that was indeed the case, it was even frightening to imagine its planned consequences if the empire's apparatus considered the risk of mass uprisings justified. Unfortunately, the article provided too little information for Linderne to find additional arguments for or against the theory she had developed, so she simply moved on to the next headline, which followed from the first.
Regnleif's reaction to such news was, in general, predictable – according to rumors, many of the Valkyries had long been inclined towards a more aggressive foreign policy, and the law introduced in Lisliar was the last straw for them. It is even possible that some of them shared her concerns about the motives of the empire's government. But, again, without detailed information, it was difficult to judge this point. Linderne was not surprised that Airisufir did not support its long-time allies, instead taking advantage of the situation for its own benefit. In many ways, the current government was doing the same thing that the founder of the empire, Lance Ainz Air el Sufir, had done. With the small amendment that he did not openly antagonize the church. The Sorceress did not even rule out the possibility that after conquering the lands of the non-humans, Airisufir might strike its former allies in the back while they were weakened by the war with Lisliar. Especially considering that they have a potential ally in the person of Cerberus, who is also interested in reducing Regnleif's influence.
