Lock, would it be okay if I describe how my character, due to severe financial difficulties, considered selling a family heirloom to Raphael, but then changed his mind. And, whining about having nothing to eat, seeing in the hero good potential cannon fodder capable of kicking enemy butts, the artist will take pity and offer the poor guy a job so he can buy some rice?
