When was the last time someone picked a non-human race as their main? I think it was still with Ment.

I've been tempted a few times, but I've held back for various reasons. But I had some ideas. Nebka originally planned to play as a kind-hearted minotaur family man, but then he drew a bad card and adapted the build to suit the opposite character, Beleroth. And I didn't really want to play yet another two-handed warrior (which half the players were) or copy the build of a previous character.
In this campaign, I might have had similar ideas if Revan hadn't decided to make them Araidians 2.0 with -20 to Defense and hyper-specialization. And it would be one thing if there were penalties to beauty or piety, but you'll have to compensate for the intelligence penalty from your starting Defense, one way or another. And if you want to have the option of choosing a belief, it will cost you a third of your starting points.
