What is the difference between serving a random queen and serving a random slave trader if both ultimately contradict the worldview?
There is a lack of a clear concept for the organization.
In general, I think it would be better if we had some specific worldviews, rather than a mishmash (I actually agree with this, but it will turn out to be simple as usual). The only question is what to do with the slave-owning system... If they are scoundrels, then everything is fine. But if it's a good party, you can develop the concept of a good master and a happy slave, where everything flows into peace, friendship, and chewing gum, and more out of habit than strict control with beatings. But this is just an option...
And I was trying to figure out what kind of worldview it is. So that the character's personality can be developed based on this, and he wouldn't be out of place in the group. Instead, I got a dance about an "absolutely neutral squad where everyone fits." Now, I should decide for other players which of their characters will fit and which will not.
The Hero is a great hero and our ideological inspiration, also a field commander. He gathered his gang and went on his heroic campaign for glory or death. Meeting your faithful, he dazzled them with his sweet talk about heroes, and you believed.
This is a justification for a specific type of character that won't suit everyone. And besides, it was never about justifying some type of character in such a group. It was about the fact that not all types can be justified, and I needed to know what the organization itself represents in terms of worldview.
I suddenly thought that Loken might buy my character as a gladiator, if necessary. So, I don't care if he agrees, the quest is ready, I'll add one line, and I won't change anything in terms of religion or worldview, regardless of what the organization is.
And this is a normal justification for any character, actually. I was thinking about something like this a few days ago. But I refused, as it is better to play as a free character with a different worldview.
I don't know yet what Loken's character will be.
This is the essence of the discussion. I asked what kind of organization it is (leaders, worldview, goals, etc.) in order to decide who to play. I received some kind of clown show in response, saying that everyone fits. I explained why and asked again about the organization. And then it started all over again.
