some specific worldviews
What Alex described is pretty much what I assumed was a given when we talked about the triumvirate, with the caveat that it's not yet 100% clear what the other characters' core values will be. This was discussed five pages ago.
It's a fairly flexible system that allows for the completion of various contracts and the involvement of characters with different worldviews, without including dilemmas about burning down orphanages. It seems strange that this needs to be stated explicitly. And no matter how you look at it, it's the same kind of mercenary work, as is practically all experience gain.
And just to be clear for those who might not be paying close attention - I don't know about Alex, but my character isn't a slave trader, he's a slave owner. This doesn't mean he whips slaves in the town square or has a tattoo on his forehead like in Fallout 2, or that he leads slaves in a slave pride parade in chains, but it also doesn't mean he cowers and hides every time a fanatical jerk shows up. It means that he has a few servants hanging around - that's it. Get over it. I don't know what you've all imagined.
