Well, I'm planning a rather ascetic hero who travels the world, endures hardships, and looks for ways to make money. The question of whether to focus on the church and lore in favor of the herbarium isn't that important; I could simply tie it to the El Isin dynasty or to Eshingir. Although the latter isn't particularly desirable if I want to develop a healer, as I originally intended. Or I could just befriend a demonic cat and get 10 birds from Shiva...
