Well, I don't know, maybe they do eat them... Although, they could be growing something to eat, which seems more reasonable. But you're exaggerating about the clothing. They can't make clothes out of animals. Just think about it - they're warm, they have Battle Druids, Dryads, and Archers, and they don't wear clothes made from animals. So why would Druids, who are supposedly the wisest of the elves, do it?
Actually, I was being sarcastic about the clothing. And Dryads don't wear animal clothing because they are forest spirits and don't need clothes. Archers don't wear them so as not to stand out against the general background; if you see deer antlers on a tree, it's unlikely anyone will think it's a deer and not an elf. But the artists made a mistake with the animal skins on the Druids; they probably didn't know what to add to the Druids to make them stand out from the others, and they ran out of ideas. :(
