Understood, thanks. I had to use this tactic in anti-magic garrisons with dragons or phoenixes, but in battles against heroes, I don't even remember if I used anything similar. I rarely use hit-and-run tactics; in battles, I mostly charge like a bulldozer, trying to eliminate the enemy with my own forces.
