So, puzzles are only a third of all the battles, if not less. I didn't even perceive them as Gwent or as a challenge – they are really linear tasks from the developers (although sometimes there are alternative solutions). It's like (whispering) the puzzles of Doctor Boom in Hearthstone (by the way, the best PvE content in the entire game, no joke).
But in the other two-thirds of the battles, you actually build a deck and can play however you want. The problem is that most of these battles were too easy and therefore boring – you have so many resources that you just throw cards in the first round until the opponent gives up, and then you still win in the second or third round with a huge advantage. Although you can specifically build a weaker deck and try to win with it (but I was too lazy to do that).
